Happy!

Max keeps saying to Samson and me, "Happy first day of Spring!" What with Max being foreign and all, I calmly explain to him, no it's just daylight savings time. Spring begins on the vernal equinox on March 21. Then I look at the weather, see the work he did in the garden today, remember the fabulous baseball game that the kiddo and I played today at the park with Grandpa, and realize that we're sitting in the hot tub...and I shout "HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SPRING!"
